TOKii is a contemporary Japanese restaurant in the heart of London, guided by ritual, rhythm, and restraint. Our role was to reimagine the brand with the same quiet precision that defines its cuisine.
A Visual Identity Worth Savouring.
At the core of the identity is a bespoke logotype. The “K” is subtly carved into the shape of a fish tail, an elegant nod to culinary craft, designed to be felt more than noticed. The type is supported by a reduced, monochrome palette and Noto Sans JP, chosen for its clarity and seamless integration of Latin and Japanese characters.
The identity is applied with care across every touchpoint. Menus are printed on uncoated stock to mirror the textural purity of the dishes. Signage and wayfinding are minimal and discreet. Packaging is clean, deliberate, and designed to disappear behind the experience.
Every detail was considered to feel intuitive, not imposed. The result is a brand that communicates not through noise but through nuance.
