Atelier Rooms
The Atelier Rooms began as an exploration of how atmosphere can move us — how light, texture, and rhythm can tell a story without words. Reimagined as speakeasy with a suite of dining and lounge spaces, it is a world where performance and craftsmanship meet intimacy; where time seems to pause and shadows take their turn in the spotlight
The lounge features Arte woven metallic moiré with studded panelling and cowhide cornicing from Samuel & Sons. Bespoke furniture, handcrafted in Paris by the legendary furniture maker Philippe Hurel, anchors the space with quiet sophistication. The ceiling is adorned with gathered satin fabrics, complemented by mohair, velvets and jacquards from Dedar. A hammered blackened metal pendant and floor lamp from Porta Romana introduce sculptural contrast, while linen and leather shades by A Shade Above. A table lamp from J. Adams & Co. complete the composition.
The dining room features handmade wallpaper from Italy by Artmura, layered with moiré, velvet, and woven prints from the iconic fabric house Lelièvre Paris. Custom lighting by Arteriors and jumbo crocodile leather from Edelman introduce depth and tactility. Taking inspiration from 1930s design, we created bespoke chairs and tables crafted by PS Interiors. The tabletop combines polished stainless steel, antique brass, and English oak, its composition both contemporary and timeless.
We commissioned Véronique de Soultrait to create a rope marquetry table surface using cotton, linen, and golden threads, a piece that celebrates the handmade in every detail. A sculptural centrepiece ornament from Ecco Trading completes the room with a quiet, reflective elegance
